3D visual grasping solution for new energy battery cells

1、 Overview of the Plan

Jingwan Technology's new energy battery cell 3D visual grasping solution, with DLS140P 3D laser galvanometer camera as the core hardware, combined with RobotPilot no code visual guidance software and dedicated industrial control system, provides a fully functional visual solution for battery cell positioning and grasping, positive and negative electrode detection, tilt detection, quantity detection, full row detection, and tray positioning for the new energy, lithium battery, energy storage, and PACK assembly industries. The application scenarios cover lithium battery production lines, cell loading stations, PACK trays, cell palletizing/unstacking, automated loading and unloading, and can stably cope with harsh working conditions such as metal reflection, multi-layer stacking, multi specification placement, and high-precision requirements. It achieves sub millimeter level positioning, full process detection, and automated grabbing, comprehensively improving the safety, consistency, and efficiency of cell production.

2、 3 core advantages

1. Sub millimeter level ultra-high precision, stable grip of reflective cells using laser galvanometer technology, X/Y accuracy 0.8mm@1.5m 、 Z direction 0.3mm@1.5m Perfectly compatible with metal reflective cells, with clear point clouds, no deviation in grasping, and no collision.

2. Integrated positioning and detection, one machine can simultaneously achieve cell positioning, positive and negative electrode detection, spacing tilt detection, full quantity detection, tray positioning, and real-time NG alarm for abnormalities, saving the cost of multiple sets of equipment.

3. No code visualization, fast deployment, easy operation and maintenance RobotPilot visualization process setup, no programming required; Support Eye in hand arm support and Eye to hand fixed installation, with one shot for full layer recognition and stable rhythm.

5、 Core functions (full functional coverage)

1. Precise positioning and grabbing of battery cells, single layer single shot, automatic fitting of single row center pose, output absolute coordinates, suitable for various arrangements such as 5 × 10/6 × 12/6 × 16.

2. Positive and negative polarity detection AI deep model identifies the polarity of 4 directions, compares it with the standard direction, and immediately alarms for abnormal NG.

3. Tilt/spacing detection: Real time detection of cell spacing and tilt, highlighted with a red box when exceeding the threshold to avoid material jamming or collision.

4. The quantity/full row detection is verified according to the set quantity, and automatic NG is performed for shortage, shortage, and non full row to ensure consistency in disk distribution.

5. Tray positioning and grabbing support synchronous positioning of battery cell layers and trays, with empty tray recognition and automatic output of grabbing points.
